Introducing MacDon’s All-New M Series SP Windrower Tractors With Dual Direction™ Technology

Don’t blink, you might miss them. With a top highway speed of 23 MPH (37 km/h), MacDon’s new super-fast M Series SP windrowers set a new benchmark for SP windrower design, productivity and performance. They feature MacDon’s patented Dual Direction™ technology (M200, M150), which allows the operator to easily rotate the operator’s station from a cab forward position for cutting, to an engine forward position for faster, more stable, highway travel. You’ll enjoy faster cutting, faster travel between fields and, best of all, be home faster than ever before.

Our most powerful tractors ever
M Series tractors are equipped with powerful diesel engines which have been specially engineered with torque characteristics for MacDon’s header requirements. These robust tier-3 engines feature charge-air-cooling, which boosts power while reducing emissions to tier-3 regulations, plus full-authority electronics that delivers power boost on demand. All engines feature state-of-the-art technology for improved fuel economy.

Exceptional crop clearance.
The M Series frame features a wide wheel stance and an unobstructed, unmatched 45" (1160 mm) below frame clearance when cutting bushy crops. M200 and M150 also feature a new hydraulic header drive with load-sensing circuits that delivers power on demand to all header functions.

Highway speeds up to 23 MPH (37 km/h)!
MacDon’s patented Dual Direction™ technology (models M200 and M150) allows the operator to switch to highway travel mode in seconds and travel at highway speeds of up to 23 MPH(37 km/h). Better still, there is no need to detach the header and transport it via flatbed, saving you even more time and labor when moving from field to field. (Limitations may occur due to road width restrictions with larger headers.)

Fully computerized header control.
M Series tractors come with a fully computerized monitoring and header control system that provides the operator with real time readout of the header’s cutting performance. Operators will also enjoy easy, intuitive fingertip control of all header functions on-the-fly.

The instrumentation and monitor system for the M200 and M150 include: 2 line display, 24 characters per line, multi-function computerized monitoring and header control, selectable display, complete onboard diagnostics displayed in plain text. Read-out of ground and engine speed. Reference numbers to determine header height, angle and flotation. System read-out for knife, disc, draper and auger speeds (read-out depends on header selection and header drive). Load gauge standard on M200, optional on M150. The M100 has some of the same monitor read-out display functions.

All new operator station and cab.
MacDon’s completely redesigned cab and operator station offers more room and comfort for the operator. Its cab forward design and curved glass provides unparalleled visibility in all directions.

Faster in the field, faster between fields, faster home
Switching from field to highway mode takes only 3 seconds with MacDon’s Dual Direction™ technology. (Available on M200 and M150.) Allows for transport speed of up to 23 MPH (37 Km/h).

Patented movable side rail platform
MacDon’s patented movable side rail platform places all regular engine and hydraulic maintenance points within easy reach.

Wide wheel stance.
The M Series frame features a wide wheel stance and an unobstructed, unmatched 45.7" (1160 mm) below frame clearance when cutting bushy crops. There is also a new hydraulic header drive with load-sensing circuits (on M150 and M200 models) that delivers power on demand to all header functions.

Patented cooling system.
Another MacDon patented design, the cooling system’s cores are easily slid or swung out for quick cleaning.
